Red-letter day

One thing about Bush that is fairly confounding is this: He claims to be a born-again Christian, but the word on him is that he's pardoned fewer convicts than any other President in history.

(If I'm wrong here, could somebody please set me straight? And with links, too? Thanks)

And now he goes and pardons somebody--wouldn't you know it would be a white-collar corporate criminal from TEXAS?

Bush Grants Pardon to Man Convicted in $25 Million Fraud Scheme

Why, if Bush is so reluctant to grant pardons as a matter of course, did he pardon THIS guy?
