Rod Paige and his 15 minutes of fame

I thought he'd apologized, then it turned out he hadn't...now it seems as though he's digging in his heels. He must like the spotlight.

Secretary Paige stands by NEA claim

Education Secretary Rod Paige says he chose poor words in calling the nation's largest teachers union a "terrorist organization," but he stands by his claim that the group uses "obstructionist scare tactics" in its fight over the nation's education law.

So...those 'scare tactics' include roadside bombs? anthrax attacks? sniper fire? suicide bombings? flying airplanes into buildings?

No...they mainly consist of demanding Bush fund his laws' mandates. Now THAT'S scary. Especially considering how RARELY that happens.

NEA asks Bush to fire Education Secretary

Is that why Paige feels terrorized? Probably not. Bush is loyal to those loyal to him.

Then again..we ARE talkin' about a NEGRO here.

Call it fifty-fifty.
